Chapter 31 (VR&E)

Formerly called Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment

Chapter 31 (VR&E) helps Veterans with service-connected injuries to prepare for, find, and keep suitable jobs. Veterans receive assistance with job training (i.e. education benefits), and job seeking (i.e. resume development, coaching, etc.) to reach their career goals.

VR&E provides funding for Emerging Technologies Institute’s approved academic programs. These programs include certification exam preparation and exam vouchers.

Veterans using Chapter 31 funding may enroll in the following programs, with these delivery options:

  • Online (self-paced, with mentor support)

  • In-person (campus located in Mineola, NY)
