Career Training Programs
At Emerging Technologies Institute, we are dedicated to our Veterans and reservists, and we recognize the great contributions they make to our country.
ETI offers VA-approved programs online, and to Veterans all over the country. We are also approved by New York State for in-person training of Veterans and other eligible persons.
See below for the funding options available for career training programs.
Our Facility Code is 25394132.
Scholarships for ETI’s business & IT programs are available to Veterans through the following funding sources:
Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)
ETI provides training, funded by Veterans Affairs. The programs listed have been approved by the New York State approving agency for the training of veterans and other eligible persons under the Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33). Based on eligibility, the VA can pay up to 100% of the student’s tuition.
Chapter 31 - Veterans Readiness & Employment (formerly called Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment)
Veterans may also seek funding under the Chapter 31 (Veterans Readiness & Employment) program. This program assists Veterans with service-connected disabilities to prepare for, find, and keep suitable jobs. VR&E provides funding for ETI’s in-classroom and online programs. Online programs are available to veterans anywhere in the US.
VFW’s Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship
The Veterans of Foreign Wars offers eligible veterans the VFW’s Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship, which provides service members and veterans up to $5,000 per semester in financial assistance they need to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt. Get more details at https://www.vfw.org/assistance/student-veterans-support.
ETI will refund the unused portion of prepaid tuition and fees on a pro-rata basis. The exact proration will be determined on the ratio of the number of days of instruction completed by the student to the total number of instructional days in the course. Any amount in excess of $10.00 for an enrollment fee or registration fee will also be prorated.
